NJZCC Car Show
Z-Day at Englishtown Raceway Park
6/25/05 —
Very hot day, but a good turnout of 70 cars entered for judging. The bracket racing that day also was interesting, with all sorts of Nissans participating, including a Frontier pickup. The hottest cars it seems though, just ran in the time trials, including a 10.8 second z32.
The biggest surprise of the day for me personally was that I seemed to be one of, if not the only Z in the z31 Daily Driver class. So that's means I get my first trophy with the car, how funny is that? As you can see, it clearly is not in the same league as the rest of the show cars. But I'll take it, now I have a trophy to display with the car next time around... cool:

 Talking to this guy was a little confusing.. The license plate said SR20DET, but this is a KA24 with a GT34 on it. Owner also claims curb weight around 1700 lbs. |
